Karimnagar ‘Color Telangana 2008′ a Success

‘Color Telangana 2008‘. (CT8) was held successfully in Karimnagar, Organized in collaboration with ‘Discover Telangana‘ and ‘Karimnagar Film Society‘ (KaFiSo) on 15th November 2008, at KaFiSo Film Bhavan. Around 50 students participated & made the event a success.
Senior artists in Karimnagar Sathya Thirunagar, Abdul Mannan, Gajoju Nagabhushanam were invited as honorary judges. Late in the evening prizes were distributed by writer and President of ‘Telangana Rachayathala Vedika‘ (TeRaVe), Sri Jukanti Jagannatham was also the chief guest, Famous writer and Translaor Nalimela Bhasker was guest of honor. Cash prizes and mementos were distributed among the winners.
Speaking at the prize distribution Sri Jukanti Jagannatham stated that Telangana History has to be included into the curriculum for all grades from elementary to high school. He also encouraged the students to engage in studying the social, cultural aspects of Telangana & also the spirit of the movement.
