Join Pooja Eppanapallys effort in signing the petition to Save the Weavers. Pooja Eppanapally is a first generation Indian American in 10th grade at Livingston High School in New Jersey, USA. She was moved by the devastating news of Indian weavers unable to earn a living and committing suicide since there is no demand for their cloth. Just in Andhra Pradesh alone about 60 people committed suicide in the last ten months and over 600 people in the last four years. The majority of these deaths are from the Siricilla and Karimnagar area.

Pooja is seeking your support to Save the Weavers by signing a Petition to the Government of India to solve this problem that has been plaguing the Indian weavers. Save the Weavers are advocating the implementation of a long term comprehensive solution that will hopefully solve this horrid problem. With all of your support we can certainly make a difference in saving the lives of Indian weavers for generations to come.
